HANNAH TEARE
Fashion Editor-at-Large for Tatler Magazine and formerly at Conde Nast UK, Hannah tells beautiful stories through clothes and costumes that are both narrative-led and deeply desirable. She creates strong visual stories - for commercial, media, theatre and film - at the intersection of her deep passion for history and art, textiles and literature.
By working with rich textures, interesting silhouettes and sometimes the reimagining of period themes, Hannah creates imagery that is contemporary, evocative and arresting and it is this golden thread that consistently appears in her work.
As well as her ongoing role at Tatler, Hannah is a Stylist and Art Director, regularly contributing to American Vogue, Vogue China, Vanity Fair, How To Spend It, Tatler and Italian Glamour. Client work includes projects for Vivienne Westwood, GRAFF, Disney with Annie Leibovitz, Temperley London, the National Theatre and Sadlers Wells. Personal styling available on request.
Regarding Theatre, Film and Ballet Hannah was recently nominated for Best Costume for short 'My Week with Maisy', and other recent projects include costume for 'The Seeker' at the Theatre Royal.
Currently Hannah is based in London and creating the costumes for the upcoming QUadrophenia Mod Ballett at Sadlers Wells.
